Making their way into the mainstream of fashion, spring/summer 2010 catwalks were awash with futuristic patterns entirely inspired by geometric shapes and repeated prints. An array of 80’s inspired attire, designers ventured into the study of geometry with bands of abstract fabrics and strong silhouettes snaking their way around short skirts, diaphanous tops and bold summer coats.
