Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz has been honoured by the City of Lights for the impact he has made upon it. At a ceremony this weekend, the designer was awarded the honour of the ‘Grande Médaille de Vermeil de la Ville de Paris’. Lanvin, known for its beautiful gowns and classic style is a perfect complement to the chic, effortless style that Paris has become known for. Elbaz, commenting on what he loved most about Paris said, “It’s a dream city and a city of dreamers.”
