Fashion critics, and general audiences alike weren’t exactly been captivated with Lindsay Lohan’s Ungaro collection. “Bad joke”, “cheesy and dated” were some of their kindest thoughts. At Fashionista, one commentator muses “Nice work Lindsay – you’ve managed to take a historic French fashion house that hardly anyone cared for to one that no one will ever care about.” But Ungaro CEO, Mounir Moufarrige, does not seem surprised or concerned. The saying goes “any publicity is good publicity,” but we still don’t envision the massive PR boost helping Lohan inspired sequined pasties and tube tops fly off the shelves.
