Autumn and winter shows this year have been inspired by new technology and have been infiltrated by digital print designs. These graphic prints are made by new software that propels an ink-jet printer onto the chosen fabric. Designer’s using this software are the well-established John Galliano and Alexander McQueen. Yet younger designer’s such as Marios Schwab and Sarah Brown have also been inspired by this new technology. Good news for high street shoppers! Whether you love bold leopard prints, kaleidoscope floral patterns or dazzling bold prints, these are now available in stores such as Topshop and Oasis.
