Shoe lust has just reached new heights with these statement heels by Nina Ricci. With a design that is perfectly fitting with the icy conditions of winter, these unusual shoe boots have sent us lusting after inanimate objects. The perspex heel is delicately detailed with two turtle doves (inspired by the Twelve Days of Christmas?!) setting off the simple silhouette of the shoe boot style. Not to mention, these seem a bit easier to navigate than Daphne Guiness’ missing heel platforms (really, is there any shoe that she can’t make work?). Although the heel may be on the delicate side, these shoes are perfect for making a statement when teamed with a simple outfit. Maybe next year Ricci will wow us with a heel resembling a partridge in a pear tree!
